The last and final pillar of Microsoft Viva is Topics – a knowledge discovery tool that automatically curates content and finds experts related to that information.
Having the ability to find information and topic experts quickly is important but sometimes hard in larger companies.
Employees often don’t have time to go through each of the complex acronyms a company uses. With Topics, you don’t have to know them. Thanks to machine learning, Topics can scan a vast amount of content, find the information, and bring it back in an easy-to-understand, digestible way.
It works by finding information relating to search queries – sourcing from documents, links, and even people – making it much easier to locate information; makes for better collaboration and knowledge-sharing across an organisation.
Overall, Microsoft Viva is an important step towards the future of a digitised workplace. The four pillars of Connections, Insights, Viva Learning, and Topics are all connected, ensuring that organisations give their employees access to a personalised workplace experience platform.
But when will Microsoft Viva be released? Sadly, we don’t know – just that it will be very soon.
