WorkPoint A/S is nominated for this year’s EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 in the Southern Region of Denmark, which recognizes the most talented and innovative growth creators.
On November the 5th , EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 will take place at Mercedes-Benz in Kolding. The competition is a great tribute to Denmark’s (and the world’s) best growth companies, which have been able to build and run successful, expanding and dynamic organizations.
EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 not only focuses on companies’ ability to generate economic growth, but also take the entrepreneur’s role, values, leadership and community engagement into account.
For WorkPoint’s CEO, Peter Jørgensen, the nomination is a crucial recognition of the company’s development in recent years. Since WorkPoint transformed from a consulting firm to a software company in 2011, the company has managed to gain a lot of recognition from e.g. Microsoft and Devoteam. With a modern business setup for project -, document -, and case management in Office 365, the company has created a digital workplace that can be used by global enterprises on both a national and international scale.
“It is important for us that we constantly work in a direction that confirms that we meet users’ needs and expectations. In recent years, both our business and product have really taken great strides, and such growth can only be achieved with a committed and motivated staff, as well as a dedicated effort to create modern and efficient workplaces for knowledge-heavy organizations”.
Peter Jørgensen also adds that this development can be felt in relation to both current and future projects:
“Although we have previously worked on advanced and larger projects in many different industries, we can see that our dynamic approach to Office 365 and Microsoft Teams appeals to modern organizations. In the Danish market, we are now used by public institutions, while we see far greater interest and traction in the international markets such as the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK”.
WorkPoint, like the other nominees in the competition, has been through interviews performed by EY advisers. Here all nominees have been asked about innovation, strategy, objectives, risks, and how the company works to make a difference for society and in one’s market.
Five finalists will be selected in six regions by the jury, of which one winner must be found from each region. Among the winners will be a national winner who, in addition of being this year’s EY Entrepreneur Of The Year, will also represent Denmark at the International Finals at EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 in Monaco.
