Skovdyrkerne - The Danish Forestry Associations
From folders and manual workflows to a shared overview: Skovdyrkerne have consolidated documentation and data into one solution — creating a stronger foundation for the future.
Challenge
Documents and agreements were scattered and difficult to locate across the organization.
Technology
Microsoft 365, SharePoint, WorkPoint 365, CRM, ERP integration
Result
A shared platform that provides better overview and centralized documentation
The Danish Forestry Associations — commonly referred to as 'Skovdyrkerne' — have for generations advised forest owners on managing forests with respect for both financial and environmental sustainability. However, behind the scenes, many of their workflows were still characterized by manual processes and local solutions.
This made it difficult to gain a clear overview — especially when collaboration across teams was required.
Together with Fellowmind and WorkPoint, Skovdyrkerne have taken the first steps toward a more unified and digital way of working.
The challenge: When important knowledge is hidden in folders
Skovdyrkerne is organized as five independent associations, which places demands on both collaboration and cross-organizational visibility. Before the new solution, achieving that overview and cohesion was a challenge.

We didn’t really have a CRM. It was more yellow sticky notes, folders on the desktop, and no real structure around it — or at least a very loose one.
This became particularly challenging when working across members and tasks.
"We had a classic folder structure where each member had their own folder. If you then needed to find all certification agreements or documents across members, it wasn’t straightforward."
At the same time, the need for internal documentation and organization was growing. When multiple employees work with the same members over time, it becomes crucial to be able to access previous agreements and decisions.
"It’s important that we can see exactly what has been agreed. Previously, things could get quite messy," says Rasmus Gregersen.
The solution: One platform for documents, data, and agreements
To create structure and improve visibility, Skovdyrkerne — in collaboration with Fellowmind and WorkPoint — implemented a CRM and document management solution.
The solution brings together documents, agreements, and correspondence in one place, making it easier to work in a more structured way with members. Today, employees use the solution to consolidate what was previously scattered.

We use it to keep track of all correspondence with our members. Everything important is stored there — contracts, confirmations, and agreements. For example, when an owner has approved a task or when we’re going out to plant 1,500 trees, it’s all saved and tracked.
The platform is built on SharePoint and WorkPoint and is integrated with Skovdyrkerne’s other systems, including ERP. Data is entered once and can be reused across systems.
A collaboration that changed their approach to IT
The collaboration with Fellowmind and WorkPoint has not only been about technology — it has also been about adopting a more structured approach to development.
“It has been a pleasure working with Fellowmind. We were used to a more informal way of developing solutions, so it’s been great to have workshops and a clear process around it.
Through workshops and ongoing dialogue, employees have been involved in the process, helping uncover needs and workflows. This has created a stronger foundation for building a solution that fits their day-to-day work.

The result: A shared foundation for documentation and visibility
Today, the solution is fully operational and has made it possible to consolidate documentation in one place and create better visibility across members and agreements.
Now we have a central place to keep everything. Before, it could be difficult to understand what had actually been agreed. It’s become much easier to find again.
At the same time, Skovdyrkerne now have a shared foundation they can continue to build on.
Their ambition is to work even more systematically with data and processes — making everyday work more efficient and ensuring that knowledge is shared and reused more effectively.
"The more control we have over our data, the better we can support our work and make it more efficient," concludes Rasmus Gregersen.
