Inspiration and dialogue. These are keywords for establishing good business partnerships. For the last couple of years, WorkPoint has developed into a mature and known solution for SharePoint Online and Office 365. This is especially due to the unique network of both national and international partners. To keep an innovative angle, WorkPoint gathered all partners for an official “Partner Day” to provide them with new inspiration
“Since our partners function as ambassadors for WorkPoint, it is important for us to ensure that our partners feel integrated and engaged in the WorkPoint product. Therefore we have created the partner day, to provide them with tools and ideas for improving their communication and interaction with the customers”
The event also presented a great opportunity for knowledge-sharing and to discuss input regarding trends, competition and customers among other WorkPoint partners in a growing network:
“Our partner network continues to grow and deliver great results. Currently, we are seeing some exciting deals, especially on the Icelandic and Danish markets, but we have also established new partnerships in both Holland and Norway, so the partner day is a key event for us to keep the momentum going and was a great opportunity for partners to meet each other. ”
One of the most important aspects of the day was to guide the partners all-around WorkPoint. Since the partners are mostly responsible for communicating with customers and end-users, it is important to provide them with an efficient setup for success. However, this can be challenging due to the differences between partners.
“ All WorkPoint partners are different from one another. They operate in different markets and with different types of customers. Besides that, some have a very technical SharePoint-orientated approach, while others are more into how to manage, sell and market WorkPoint as a product. Our job at the Partner Day was to attend all types of partners and provide them with the appropriate direction and strategy”
Partners gathered at WorkPoints partner day in the lobby with WorkPoint personnel to discuss and share their experiences regarding challenges, cases and success stories when operating as a WorkPoint partner
Although , these differences are a challenge to make an agenda that all partners can identify with. But despite the differences there exist some generic challenges that can be applied across partners and industries:
” We would like to create a more vertical mindset. We will continue to enhance our focus on out-of-the-box solutions that can be implemented directly into a SharePoint Online and Office 365 platform. However, we must also enhance our efforts towards specific industries. For instance, there is a great need for systemising data and documents within the financial sector, while many entrepreneurs and manufacturers are interested in optimising processes for quality assurance and project management. At the event, we presented our partners with vertical strategies and solutions to address these industry-related challenges”
The event also featured key guest speakers with WorkPoint experience. This included a selection of partners, end-users and representatives from Microsoft and LEGO. This offered the partners an opportunity to hear WorkPoint from a different point-of-view.
