2021 has been another exciting year for WorkPoint. Cloud solutions are maturing rapidly from a functional, solution, and technological perspective. From a technical perspective, the way WorkPoint uses the Microsoft function in Microsoft 365 enables us to move very fast in areas such as security, integrations, and functionality.
For example, WorkPoint’s ability to integrate to the Power Platform, other Microsoft applications, and how it ties together with SharePoint is fantastic from a development side. Also, the introduction of Viva, a Microsoft solution for the modern workplace, presents many exciting possibilities and a bright future for AI-powered functionality and further smart integrations.
We have dedicated a lot of time and focus on development this year. A large portion has been dedicated to tailoring the WorkPoint solution to specific verticals – such as helping construction companies with the many projects and field workers that needs to access project-critical documents and files from their phone or laptop.
The HR management, case, and contract management side of WorkPoint is also growing strongly, especially in the public sector – and specifically municipalities – that rely on stable, secure case management functionality for its citizens. Our solutions make us the leading platform for case management right now.
The WorkPoint partner network is also growing and strengthening our solution. For example, one of our partners got awarded with the award of ‘Best electronic case management solution of the year’ from E-nettet. At the moment, we have around 40 partners, with ten new companies joining this year. We’re seeing great expansion geographically too – in different markets with rapid growth.
We have also started working with engineering companies that have thousands of users running project management for large-scale million and billion dollar projects. WorkPoint has proven a strong solution for managing information in all phases, bridging the gap with project management and allowing all stakeholders to access what they need.
We have also seen accounting firms with over thousands of users using specific functions for case management and customer files where they can manage all cases with their clients.
WorkPoint allows them to manage cases and sort information yearly, perform tax declarations, and more, allowing them to work in an integrated and fully compliant way.
In 2022, you will see more focus on AI and process management, which will drive new ways of doing things in WorkPoint, as well as improved integrations to external platforms like the Power platform. Process automation is huge for WorkPoint and in combination with AI, will be incredible.
We will also focus more on our partners to allow them stronger adoption and ensure smooth operations. With more companies standardizing on Microsoft 365 and looking for ROI on their technology, we want to help more of these companies capitalize on what they already have.
Especially now with the pandemic, many companies are running remote operations and have a great need to better communicate and access their information. For 2022, we will focus all our efforts on delivering the best possible Microsoft 365 experience for all customers — while helping our partners to do the exact same for companies like yours.
